Jack and Emily (and their dog) had driven down from Belgium. Jacks’s father flew in from Canada, and the Bride’s parents and brother and his wife flew in from Arizona for a Ceremony in a luxury villa, on the cliffs near Granadella.
The afternoon ceremony was on Clive’s birthday, and the Bride’s parents had taken the trouble to buy him a cake.
We arrived to discover that they didn’t have a photographer, so Ann, normally described as a “Happy Clappy” took on the roll of “Happy Snapper” as well as providing the wedding music, and we burned a CD with the photos for each part of the family, before they left Javea for their respective homes.
Dear Bishop Clive (and Ann!),
I am writing to thank you again for making our wedding so special. The ceremony was beautiful – it was so much more than I was expecting. Your message was wonderful and all the little details – the music, the photos, the book you created – were great. Thank you for putting so much time and effort into making it all happen! I only regret that we couldn’t have spent more time with you and your lovely wife Ann before and after the ceremony. If we are ever in the area again we will look you up for sure!
Thank you again for everything you did for us. Even though we did not have too much time together I feel like you understood Jack and I and what we wanted out of our moment of commitment to each other.
I wish you all the best as you officiate over other lucky couples this summer!
Emily (and Jack)
